Feeding the hungry
Hunger is closer than you think.
Hunger is not just a problem in developing countries, it might be as close as next door. Children and adults face hunger in every community across the country. Your neighbor, child’s classmate, or even coworker may be struggling to get enough to eat. Food banks distribute billion meals each year through food pantries and meal programs throughout the United States in an active fight to alleviate hunger.
Food banks supplies fluctuate according to the amount of food donations given throughout the year. Oftentimes people think to donate around the winter holidays, but forget during the summer months and supplies dwindle. Unfortunately hunger is a problem year-round.
Hope for Healing works globally and locally to help feed the hungry. As always, 100% of your donation goes directly to help those in need.
