Hope for Healing has a goal of making the world a better place.  Health and well being are basic needs like food and water.  This is one area where personal accountability makes a huge impact.  There are many things we can do to improve personal health and well being and a lot of those don’t require money.  You can begin today to take steps to improve, educate, and/or heal yourself.

Health has many components

Health, as defined by World Health Organization (WHO), is a “state of complete physical, mental, and social well being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”  How you feel emotionally affects how you feel physically, and vice versa. According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC) there is an emotional component in 85% of all illnesses.

If you have ever felt lonely, unloved, humiliated, ashamed, anxious, depressed, worried, abandoned, betrayed, forlorn, lost, insecure, vulnerable, nervous, helpless, hopeless, discouraged, rejected, sad, angry, afraid, jealous, overwhelmed, confused, frustrated, taken for granted, insecure, or worthless then we have something in common and there’s something we can do about it.
